プロデューサー／ミックスエンジニア／リディムビルダー／DJであるG-Conkarah によって、2009年1月に設立されたレコードレーベル。
その名は、偉大なるレジェンドSugar Minott がダブプレートセッションの中でG-Conkarahに授けた「G-Governor」という称号に由来する。
名古屋を拠点に、Reggae / Dancehall / Afro Fusion / Hip-Hop / R&B / Bass Musicを軸としながら、ジャンルの枠を越えたサウンドを追求。
現場とストリートで培われた感覚をベースに、リアルで時代にフィットする音を世界へ発信し続けている。

G-Governor Music is an independent record label founded in January 2009 by G-Conkarah — producer, mixing engineer, riddim builder, and DJ.
The name “G-Governor” originates from a title given to G-Conkarah by the legendary Sugar Minott during a dubplate session. That identity later evolved into the foundation of the label.
Based in Nagoya, Japan, the label focuses on pushing forward a global sound rooted inReggae, Dancehall, Afro Fusion, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Bass Music, while constantly exploring new sonic directions beyond genre boundaries.
Driven by real studio experience and street-level energy, G-Governor Music continues to deliver music designed for artists worldwide.
